Pet Portraits & Animal Art

I am really just a kid at heart, with a cowgirl attitude who has always recognized animals as a very important and enriching part of my life.

With their individual characters and expressions, animals hae always intrigued me and they are the subject I choose to capture on canvas.  I find something to love in each and every one of them.

Art has always been a defining part of my life.  I have worked in interior design in New York and Florida, handpainting furniture and fabric in San Francisco.  In the past several years, I have been painting portraits animals.

I work from photographs using oils as my medium of choice

After traveling extensively, I am currently settled in Nevada City, California, within the beautiful Sierra Mountain foothills with my family and an assortment of animal friends.

When I am not painting, I ride my horses, camp in the High Sierras, and photograph the 49er Gold Country.

I am a member of Pioneer Arts, Inc and Banner Mountain Artisans.
