Lee Andersen began her serious study of art in Singapore where she did plein air sketching in the kampongs,by the docks, off the roof tops, in China Town and all over the island.

Back in the U.S. she continued study in Fullerton, California with the Rex Brandt School of teaching, at the Museum Art School of Houston, the Art League of Houston. 

She is a member of Pioneer Arts Inc. and is currently the web master for this site.

Her paintings have been in several exhibits.  Her art has been shown at the Family Center, Grass Valley City Hall, Public Defender's Office in Nevada City, Placer Credit Union, Club Sierra, Foothill Trader, Northern Queen, Supervisor's Office, Creek Side Restaurant.

She has awards for Best of Show, First, Second place and honorable mention.
